Is Dropnex part of the Mercato family?

No — Dropnex is a fully independent product with its own brand and pricing. We built it because our customers needed it, but it works with Shopify, Wix, BigCommerce, and WooCommerce just as well as Bottega/Mercato.

Do I need a Bottega store to use Dropnex?

No. Dropnex plugs into any major commerce platform. The host plugin for each platform is free; you pay only for Dropnex's sourcing tier.

What suppliers do you support?

AliExpress and CSV import are built in today. Spocket, Modalyst, and direct supplier APIs are next on the roadmap. Custom connectors available on Business tier.

How does pricing work for me + suppliers?

Customer pays you on your storefront (your Stripe). Dropnex creates a PO with the supplier, you pay the supplier their price. The margin is yours. Our cut is the monthly Dropnex tier — nothing per-order.

What if a supplier item goes out of stock?

Real-time sync (Pro+) hides the item from your storefront immediately. Customers see accurate stock. Free + Starter rely on the sync cadence.
